How to Manifest in This New Spiritual Era

“Manifesting” and “manifestations” have become buzzwords — used interchangeably with creating, building, designing, and achieving. The core principle of manifesting has been diluted into general descriptions that lean more toward inventions, innovations, and creativity rather than a truly spiritual and metaphysical process.
Let’s explore the three ways people are currently using the word manifesting — and how it’s evolving in this new spiritual era.
Manifesting as a “Doing” Activity
In this category, manifesting is equal to having an idea, setting a goal, creating a plan, and taking consistent action until it becomes a tangible result that once did not exist in its present form and now it does. You can decide to write a book, build a house, create a lush garden, etc.
Let’s use the book as an example. You decide to write a book. You brainstorm your concept, outline chapters, schedule writing sessions, research publishing, and eventually hold the finished book in your hands. The book is now part of your legacy.
This is a valid form of creation — bringing something from idea to reality — but it is often labeled as manifesting when it’s really more about execution and discipline than energetic alignment.
This type of manifesting is based on doing.
Manifesting as A Wishing Well Activity
This version of manifesting is centered around wishes, hopes, dreams, and desires.
People gather to create vision boards, cutting out pictures of dream homes, luxury cars, vacations, money, and ideal relationships, hoping to receive them in physical form someday. They place their desires on the board and hope the Universe delivers. This isn’t from a space of co-creation, but from a place of passive seeking, wanting, needing.
This form of manifesting often stems from lack — a feeling of “I don’t have it, so I want it.”
There’s rarely deep clarity on why something is desired — only a belief that it will bring happiness, approval, or a sense of worth. You see a beautiful car, fantasize about owning it, imagine driving it, and you tell yourself it will make you feel successful.
Once again, this wish or desire is coming from a place of lack. You’ve been told to visualize, keep it at the forefront of your mind, and eventually, it will appear in your driveway.
You’re told to visualize it, stay focused, and “believe it into being.” And yes, thanks to Quantum Physics, we know that thought has power. But this is what happens: When something close to your desire shows up — not quite what you asked for, but in the vicinity — you justify it, convincing yourself it’s a manifestation. In reality, you’re just wanting to make yourself believe that it happened; if not, you’ll be disappointed, and wishing disappointment away is now more important than not having received what you asked for.
Sometimes, you lose impatience, change focus, and break the energetic thread of concentration that was connecting you to what you desire. Once that line of communication is severed, your wishes, dreams, and desires disappear with it.
This is another way people use manifesting in a different context.
Note
Webster’s dictionary describes manifesting as ‘to make evident or certain by showing or displaying.’
Vocabulary.com says: A manifestation is the public display of emotion or feeling, or something theoretical made real. Manifestation’s origins are in religion and spirituality because if something spiritual becomes real, it is said to be a manifestation. The word’s usage has spread to include all aspects of life.
Even though the original description of manifestation was rooted in spiritual and metaphysical origins, it has taken on a different meaning over the years and has created confusion in spiritual practices. This is not a true, spiritually focused activity.
Society has reduced manifesting to passive wishing rather than active co-creation with Spirit.
People use manifesting to attract what they “think” they want. And I did write that, what they “think” they want. Humans are so overwhelmed with so many commercials, social media, and promotional distractions that they forget what they really want in life.
We live in a world overwhelmed by messages telling us what we should want: money, status, possessions, followers. But the truth is, deep down, what most of us really want is peace, love, harmony, safety, and security.
It is not until you’ve spent your whole life running after things you think you want that you finally settle down later in life to realize that all the stuff you’ve been pursuing, demanding, and expecting has no value anymore.
It isn’t until later in life, after chasing goals, recognition, and material things, that we realize the most important manifestations are the unseen ones:
- A peaceful home
- Authentic relationships
- Inner clarity
- Self-trust
- Joy in simple moments
This is the point where people freeze, stagnate, get stuck, are unclear about what’s next, and have no real direction as to what to ask for now.
If this is where you are — CONGRATULATIONS!
You’ve reached the most powerful space of your life: the threshold of conscious co-creation with your Soul.
Now, you will truly start to appreciate all that you have accomplished in your life, not from a magnifying glass, looking for the big shiny impressive things you have done, the ones that need acknowledgement and validation, but the ones that are personal to you, the ones that made you happy, the ones you unconsciously ‘seeded’ and “manifested” in your life today.
Now, instead of manifesting from the mind, you begin to recognize what you’ve already manifested from your higher Self — quietly, unconsciously, and soulfully.
Manifesting as a “Being” Activity
Manifesting is a long-haul game.
It’s not a magic trick or instant gratification. It’s the Soul’s unfolding — gently and divinely orchestrated over time. It is not meant to be a magic trick … abracadabra … and poof, appear.
First of all, understand that your Soul chose the life you came here to live to become a higher frequency entity. Your Soul didn’t incarnate to be rich or poor, happy or sad, successful or forgotten. That is not the mission of your Soul.
It came to raise its frequency and contribute to the elevation of collective consciousness.
Your Soul’s mission is to elevate its energetic frequency to create change in the world and in collective wisdom. So while you spend your life chasing stuff, titles, validation, and approvals, the Soul is just there for the ride — gathering what it needs for the greater mission in the future. Because at some point, we all arrive at the same place. At least many do. Others may leave it for the next lifetime. But you have a choice to do it now, here, in this present physical body.
And our job is to align with its mission and embody it in everything we do all day.
Manifesting as a “Being” means living in the present, being aware all the time, and vibrating from a higher frequency.
Soul-Led Manifesting
Let me explain.
As we age and evolve, we begin to see where we’ve truly co-created — where divine timing, wisdom, and grace moved through us. This means we have accumulated many years walking on earth this time around. You get to see where you truly co-created and manifested new ideas, concepts, relationships, wisdom, and knowledge required to move peacefully and easily into the next phase of your life. You now have a chance to take it all in with awe, appreciation, and pride, even though it was not what you ever asked for all throughout your life, and yet, it showed up.
You start to appreciate what manifested not because you demanded it, but because your Soul required it for your growth and purpose.
My Personal Evolution
Some of us came into this life aware. Old souls. Intuitives. Quiet observers.
This journey is different for someone who is not only an old Soul, but someone who came with awareness early in life and had a chance to truly work on their Soul’s journey instead of the physical, tangible world. This person quietly guided their entire life to ask for different things than the rest. They learn to appreciate everything that shows up, no matter what it is, and live in harmony, peace, and ease, while enjoying a life rich in fun, joy, unexpected experiences, and feeling whole and complete in all phases of their lives.
I know that because that’s me. My guardian angel arrived with me and stayed close, making itself felt. Not only did I feel it, but I listened to it and followed the directions as instructed.
I’ve walked this path with divine guidance — my guardian angel beside me from the start. I listened. I followed. I didn’t ask for much because I didn’t need much.
Everything came from a space of divine gratitude. Whether something appeared “good” or “bad,” I didn’t judge it — I received it. I trusted that every experience carried a lesson, preparing me for future moments.
I’ve lived a life of peace, ease, and unexpected joy — not because I demanded it, but because I remained open to it.
This way of living gave me a sense of peace, ease, and confidence that I never worked for. Things do manifest easily in my life. But here’s the difference. I ask for nothing. There wasn’t anything I felt that I really needed to have to make me happy and satisfied.
I lived in a space of wonderment, divine gratitude, appreciation, and awe. Whether it was good or bad, I didn’t distinguish them as different outcomes; they were just outcomes.
It is this way because it is. To me, there was always a reason something happened the way it did, and it was not my place to demand an explanation, as long as I look at it from a point of view of what the lesson is in this. What am I being prepared to do with this information? This experience, whether good or bad, was to give me the ammunition I would later need for future situations. I can then be more concise with my choices and decisions, and ready to navigate anything that comes my way, because it was like a pre-training boot camp. I was given the tools and skills to navigate life seamlessly. This allowed me to be ready and even excited about future situations.
Even to this day, I jump in with both feet because I am so passionate about everything I do, and people close to me see it. My energetic frequency becomes contiguous. I’ve seen the surprise look in their faces because they are thinking, What’s the big deal? Why is there so much enthusiasm and excitement about such a simple project or idea? And yes, it may look like it is not a big deal, but in the spiritual realm, everything is a big deal. Every time I get to co-create and “manifest” a new idea or project, I am in direct creative and collaborative space with Source.
Others may not understand why I get so enthusiastic about something simple — but in the spiritual realm, nothing is simple.
Every idea, every spark, every creation is a sacred collaboration with Source. It’s not just an aha moment — it’s a celebration — a merging of Soul, Spirit, and mission.
It’s a joint venture with my Soul, Spirit Guides, and Source. It’s focused on my Soul’s journey. These ‘aha’ moments are not just aha for me. It’s a celebration of my Soul and the collective wisdom because they are here as our guides to move humanity and consciousness into a new era. Earth Souls that open a communication portal to hear, perceive, and embrace this communication process bridge the gap between the physical and spiritual realms, bringing major change into this world.
The New Era of Manifesting
Manifesting in this new spiritual era is no longer about chasing, wishing, or striving. It is about elevating your frequency to attract what is already aligned with your Soul’s highest path.
This new way of manifesting isn’t rooted in external desires or temporary satisfaction — it begins with inner contentment, deep presence, and full awareness of your Soul’s silent whispers. When you attune to this inner stillness, your energy harmonizes with peace, ease, love, and divine flow. From this elevated state, all that is meant for you — abundance, prosperity, joy — flows into your life naturally and effortlessly.
You are not manifesting from a place of lack, but from a place of energetic truth.
In this higher frequency of Being, manifesting becomes a sacred, aligned activity. It’s no longer about attracting what the ego wants, but receiving what your Soul already knows is yours in the higher realms. From this space of vibrational clarity, all material things that support your Soul’s mission appear in perfect timing.
This is where the true metaphysical nature of manifesting resides.
Manifesting in this new era is not about doing — it is about Being. It is a conscious practice of spiritual alignment, vibrational resonance, and divine trust.
In this way, you do not force. You allow. You do not seek. You receive.
And everything unfolds with grace.
So, what is Manifesting in this New Spiritual Era?
It’s about elevating your frequency to attract what is meant for you. It’s no longer about external stuff that brings temporary highs. It’s about inner contentment with what is — and tuning into the whispers of your Soul.
When you’re present and aware, your frequency rises. And from that space of peace, ease, love, and harmony — everything that is meant to support your joy and fulfillment will naturally manifest into your experience.
